Firm Summary

Feuerborn Associates Engineering is a growing structural and mechanical engineering firm located in Pocatello, Idaho. The owner and founder of the firm, Richard Feuerborn, has a proven history of providing responsive and quality consulting services to industries throughout the United States as a part of the old K&F Engineers.

Jeff Andrews recently joined as a Principal. Jeff brings a strong industrial and design background with experience in environmental and lean processes. Jeff and Richard have worked together in the past as colleagues and more recently as client-engineer.

Clients served by Feuerborn and K&F include JR Simplot, Specialty Minerals, Basic American Foods, World Minerals, Thompson Creek Mining, Robinson-Nevada Mining, and others.

The many types of industrial projects include mining facilities, mill buildings, food processing plants, waste water distribution, chemical plants, and commercial structures.

Feuerborn Associates is committed to each client project through a true partnering approach. We understand that we are an important part of a project team that needs to work together in order to have a successful project. The firm’s multi-discipline approach allows potential issues to be identified early in the planning and design phases. This enables the project team to address and resolve problems ahead of time to keep the project on schedule and within budget.

A Bit of History

Feuerborn Associates was started when the previous firm, K&F Engineers, was dissolved in 2010. The former K&F Engineers was a consulting engineering firm established in 1983 by Jitendra Kalyani and Richard Feuerborn. The success of K&F was determined by requests for additional services from satisfied clients. The can-do attitude and competence resulted in client loyalty that brought repeat business for many years.

K&F was always a small firm with about a dozen staff members. With that small, qualified, and experienced staff, K&F was able to provide an effective range of services to industrial clients. The industries served included food processing, mining & minerals processing, and fertilizer and chemical plants.

Feuerborn Associates continues to build on that reputation by providing quality professional engineering services with quick response to client needs.
